The CCP owns the compilation of content posted on the website, which consists of text, images, audio, video, databases, design, codes, and software (“Content”). This does not mean that the CCP owns each component of the compilation, some of which may be owned by others and used with their permission or used in accordance with applicable law (e.g., fair use). Further, the CCP owns some, but not all, of the intellectual property rights in the Content, including copyright.
Content in the CCP Collections website falls into one of three categories for purposes of your use:
Content under the Open Access Collections is made available to the public and may be used for noncommercial purposes without fee or copyright restriction.

CCP does not guarantee that all Content under the Open Access Collections are free from rights other than copyright, including rights held by third parties; or that use of such Content might be subject to other laws, such as rights of publicity or privacy.
While requestors do not need CCP’s permission to use this Content for non-commercial purposes, they are still responsible for obtaining any third-party permissions that may be required for commercial uses. Requesters may also request for the HD copy of the Content by completing the Content Accessibility Form.

The Content under this type shall be consistent with the usage conditions provided above. Apart from the usage conditions, they are also identified as suitable to use for commercial purposes. *Philippine Registry of Cultural Property (PRECUP) Recognition
The Philippine Registry of Cultural Property (PRECUP), established through Article V Section 4 of the National Heritage Act of 2009 (Republic Act No. 10066, is the repository of all important cultural properties of the Philippines.)
The CCP shall identify the different important cultural properties based on the criteria provided for in Section 5 of RA 10066: National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009.
Section 5. Cultural Property Considered Important Cultural Property. – For purposes of protecting a cultural property against exportation, modification, or demolition, the following works shall be considered important cultural property, unless declared otherwise by the pertinent cultural agency:

Viewing rooms are personalized online links provided by the CCP for requestors to stream the Content for a limited period. Use of Content for educational purposes such as research, dissertation, journal article, critical paper or other private viewings will be able to use the CCP Collections Viewing Room Service. Requestors using this service are prohibited from downloading, copying, reproducing or circulating the Content.
Access of materials under the portfolio use are limited only to persons or organizations who were part of the requested production. Content may be downloaded but can only be used for personal, archival, and non-commercial uses.
This service includes the distribution or circulation of Content for purposes of public showing or targeted audience using any mass communications medium such as but not limited to television broadcast, radio, print, use as production material, or any online platform without any profit
