TITLE PLACE DATE DESCRIPTION The country’s leading orchestra performed a selection of classical and contemporary tunes under the helm of PPO’s Associate Conductor, Maestro Herminigildo G. Ranera. The event also bestowed an Arts and Culture Award upon CCP President Arsenio J. Lizaso. Mr. Lizaso, a 1965 graduate of the Bachelor of Arts major in English program of the UE College of Arts and Sciences-Manila, had spent close to six decades in theatre, television, and film as an artist, director, and producer. Additionally, he had devoted the same time to cultural work, art education, and personal advocacy to bring art closer to the common man.
