TITLE PLACE DATE DESCRIPTION The Virgin Labfest held a press conference for its milestone year, VLF XX: HINOG, at the Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez on May 28, 2025. Playwrights, directors, and actors behind 12 new scripts and 4 revisited works attended the event, along with heads of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Tanghalang Pilipino, and Writer’s Bloc. VLF XX: HINOG promises a passionate community of unheard voices and untold stories, bringing people closer through truthful and compelling storytelling. Beyond its performances, VLF XX: HINOG takes pride in planting seeds of wisdom through its educational components: Staged Readings, Theater Talks, Playwrights’ Fair, Dramaturgy Fellowship Exhibit, and Writing Fellowship Program and Showcase. The country’s premier theater festival of untried, untested, and unstaged one-act plays returns from June 11 to 29, 2025, at the Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez (CCP Black Box Theater).
