The much anticipated National Children’s Book Day (NCBD) recognizes the best work of children’s book writers, illustrators, and publishers. Additionally, the event celebrates the importance of nurturing our young readers’ curiosity and imagination.This is celebrated every third Tuesday of July to commemorate the anniversary of the publication of Jose Rizal's "The Monkey and the Turtle" in Trubner's Oriental Record in London.
