Bibeth Orteza’s Hiligaynon adaptation of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, Katsuri, a Visayan word for “mouse,” is a story of the great friendship of two unlikely characters undergoing a human being’s need to belong. The production is set in a feudal estate and examines how certain circumstances have tested their friendship. The cast is composed of Tanghalang Pilipino Actors Company under the direction of Carlos Siguion-Reyna.
