The exhibition titled ‘Selections from the 21st Century Art Museum Collection’ aims to introduce Philippine contemporary art from the 1960s to the 1980s to a wider audience. The exhibition is divided into two sections: ‘The Possibilities of Luminance’ and ‘Man and Nature’, highlighting artists who pushed the boundaries of traditional art forms and created conceptual, experimental, and abstract works. These exhibitions explore both figurative and non-representational art forms, influenced by the artists’ creative expressions, spontaneity, materials, and personal philosophies.
