CURRENTS: A Virtual Reality Cinemalaya Experience is an online exhibition made for the 17th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, and launched on 17 August 2021.
The public was virtually welcomed by Cinemalaya Festival Director and CCP Vice-President, Chris B. Millado and Cinemalaya Foundation Inc. president, Laurice Guillen.
As a special treat, acclaimed director and Cinemalaya alumni Treb Monteras walked viewers through his exploration of the virtual environment using a VR device.
