Alice and Friends: A Tapestry of Dances Celebrating 50 Years of Dance at the CCP
In celebration of the birthday of Alice Reyes, National Artist for Dance, we are streaming today the archival recording of "Alice and Friends: A Tapestry of Dances Celebrating 50 Years of Dance at the CCP," edited by 2020 Gawad CCP Para Sa Sining Awardee Nonoy Froilan. As one of the last productions to be performed at the CCP before we closed our doors due to the pandemic, the tapestry of dances hearkens back to a time 50 years ago, when the National Artist for Dance staged her first modern dance concert at the Cultural Center. Work has never stopped for Reyes, as today she is Artistic Consultant for the CCP Dance Workshop.
